CCA Objectives

The aims of the CCA are outlined in the Constitution and below:

  • Defend the the Mt Canobolas State Conservation Area (SCA) from unsympathetic and undesirable developments;
  • Promote the conservation of biodiversity, the natural and cultural heritage values of the Mt Canobolas SCA for posterity through public awareness, education, advocacy and lobbying;
  • Advise public and private institutions of the environmental worth of the Mt Canobolas SCA; and
  • Assist in the protection of Aboriginal Heritage sites within the Mt Canobolas SCA.
