When are politicians going to realise that the balance had been tipping away from the environment for decades [“Find the balance: Donato” CWD 17/3/22]. If we can’t find somewhere more suitable to place a huge, destructive, bike track than in the middle of a beautiful island of rare remnant bushland, so little of which is left in the Central West, then we should at least admit as such. There are other species on this planet, you know, and so little of their habitat is currently under the protection of National Parks that’s it’s a scandal. And now even these areas are not safe.
