I’m confident that if the proposed mountain bike track succeeds in being built, future generations will say: “You mean, Orange City Council actually went ahead and built that 100km network of bike tracks on Mount Canobolas, despite the strong opposition from First Nations people, scientists and concerned community groups. Didn’t they understand the importance, significance and value of that mountain?”
Mountain bike riding is a great sporting activity – in the right location.
One word comes to mind when it comes to some proposed, future projects, including the bike track … vision, vision, vision!
This would be instead of very, divisive projects that fail to fully acknowledge our community’s environmental concerns
